Like many of you, Magento has been the heart of our story for many years. The Magento platform and community has given us a home, paid our bills, and allowed us to contribute to many customers’ success stories.
In recent years, there’s been much talk of Magento/Adobe Commerce moving upmarket. The platform changes headlining Adobe’s plans are directly in line with that, but will leave behind much of the accessibility and extensibility that have kept this platform and community at the forefront of ecommerce.
We believe Magento Open Source has a bright future ahead, and can remain a viable and highly competitive ecommerce platform for many years to come, if properly nurtured.
With this in mind, we join our industry peers in setting the stage for this future, and call on Adobe and Magento Association to do the same.
