"Every satisfaction which can reasonably be requested should be given to those veteran troops who, through almost every distress, have been so long and so faithfully serving the states." - President George Washington
This month, ParadoxLabs honors those who have worn the military uniform. Our nation’s veterans sacrificed their personal freedoms to ensure our own. We also honor the family members and caregivers of our veterans for all they sacrifice and endure to support those who defend our country.
We believe that the way in which we treat and support our veterans defines the moral character of our nation. Our veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission to serve our country and it is never too late to give them a hero’s welcome home. We want all veterans to feel that their service was not in vain, and that they are appreciated.
At ParadoxLabs we support two organizations that help our nation’s veterans and their families, The Wild Bill Guarnere Memorial Fund and The 3rd SPG Veterans Foundation
- The Wild Bill Guarnere Memorial Fund was established to raise the needed funds to complete an eight-foot statue of Wild Bill that was placed at the Delaware County Veterans Memorial in September of 2015. Now, the organization remains committed to continuing the spirit of giving that Bill dedicated his life too. They are committed to helping veterans and their families who have fallen on hard times as well as various children’s organization that Bill supported. One of the ways we help is through the Annual Golf Outing.
- The 3rd SPG Veterans Foundation aids the outstanding airmen, who served at Clark Air Base. The foundation provides support to assist these veterans where other programs are not available. The foundation has also been created to assist in the security and maintenance of two cemeteries located on the ground of the former Clark Air Base.
We often get caught up in balancing day-to-day tasks at work and home, but we believe it is our obligation to honor the sacrifices made by our veterans and make sure they know that their dedication to our country will not be overlooked.
On Veterans Day, we are inviting all our clients, families and friends to join us in thanking all the veterans who bravely serve our country and put their lives on the line. This year at 11:00am, please take a moment to observe a moment of silence to remember the true heroes who are serving, have served, and those that sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.
