ParadoxLabs is looking for a senior-level Magento developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a highly effective and experienced Magento developer, with excellent communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

As a senior developer, you would be involved in the entire lifecycle of clients and projects, including site audits and optimization, onboarding, architectural analysis, implementation, quality assurance, release coordination, and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop projects through the entire lifecycle as the primary technical resource
  • Maintain and improve Magento client sites
  • Audit the health, security, and performance of Magento sites, including the ability to identify problems, provide recommendations, and implement them
  • Support and enhance ParadoxLabs extension offerings (tier 2/3)
  • Solve complex architectural challenges
  • Implement Magento customizations and integrations of any nature
  • Provide expert analysis and direction to the team and clients on technical matters
  • Share knowledge and experience with other developers, via code reviews and other interactions
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to provide the best experience and outcomes possible

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Magento 2 Certified Professional Developer or Developer Plus
  • 3+ years full-time experience building and maintaining Magento stores
  • Numerous successful project launches as the lead or primary developer
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Talent for analysis and problem solving
  • Self-reliant and motivated to continuous learning
  • Deep and intuitive understanding of Magento’s architecture and related languages and technologies
  • Solid understanding of the principles behind security, performance, scalability, and maintainability, including the ability to identify problems with each and fix them
  • Experience with Magento Cloud, Data Migration Tool, MFTF, PWA Studio, and deployment processes is a plus
  • Upstanding community involvement (GitHub, Stack Exchange, Slacks, etc.) is a plus
  • Must be a permanent US citizen

Compensation: $90,000 to $105,000 per year
